1. Who we are

PhoneBelo (“we”, “us”) operates the cloud Android management service available at https://phonebelo.com. Contact: hello@phonebelo.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — email, display name, password hash, and profile fields you provide.
• Service data — Android instances you create, proxy configurations (credentials stored encrypted), provider settings, usage and quota records, and notifications.
• Technical data — session cookies, CSRF tokens, IP and user-agent as logged by our servers and reverse proxy, and security/audit events.
• Support — messages you send to our contact or security email addresses.

3. How we use data

• Provide, operate, and secure the PhoneBelo service.
• Authenticate sessions and enforce quotas.
• Send transactional email (verification, password reset) when configured.
• Diagnose outages, abuse, and security incidents.
• Improve reliability and product features.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process data to perform our contract with you, to pursue legitimate interests in running a secure service, and to comply with legal obligations.

5. Cookies & sessions

We use essential cookies for authentication and CSRF protection. These are required for the product to function. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the marketing or app surfaces described here.

6. Sharing

We may share data with infrastructure providers that host the service (compute, storage, email delivery) under agreements that limit use to providing those services. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and users from abuse or security threats.

7. Retention

Account and service data are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Logs and audit events may be kept for security and operations. You may request deletion subject to legal and operational limits.

8. Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, encrypted proxy secrets, session controls, and access-scoped APIs. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; please use a strong unique password. See also our Security page.

9. Your choices

You can update profile details in the app, reset your password, and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data where required by law. Email hello@phonebelo.com.

10. Children

PhoneBelo is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. International transfers

Servers may be located in jurisdictions different from yours. By using the service you understand that your data may be processed in those locations with appropriate safeguards where required.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
